Eagers to please auto enthusiasts at future Brisbane Airport Auto Mall

10 December 2020

Australia’s number one automotive group Eagers Automotive Ltd joined Brisbane Airport to announce an exciting road ahead for Airport’s future Auto Mall project, with Eagers CEO Martin Ward promising a world-class automotive retailing experience for Queenslanders over the coming years.

As guest speaker at our recent BNE Enterprise Business Breakfast on 10 December, Martin Ward, accompanied by Brisbane Airport’s Executive General Manager Commercial Martin Ryan, laid out their future plans for the Auto Mall precinct.

Working closely together on the finishing touches of their design, Eagers and Brisbane Airport Corporation are promising to revolutionise the automotive retail landscape in Australia for a generation.

Construction on Eagers’ 90,000-plus square-metre retail precinct will commence in 2021, and when completed, will offer more than 9 car brands to buyers interested in testing the full capabilities of their vehicles on a 2.3km Mark Skaife-designed performance track.

Martin Ward offered the Business Breakfast audience unique insights into the future of Eagers Automotive Limited plans at the $500+ million BNE Auto Mall, assuring attendees that the cars on offer will appeal to budgets and needs of all sizes, from family SUVs to high performance luxury badges.

Brisbane Airport’s Martin Ryan commended the efforts being made by Eagers Automotive in working with Airport to create a world-class buying experience for Queensland customers, citing Auto Mall’s prime location, with proximity to major transport corridors, as a critical success factor in driving future customers to the Airport precinct.
