BNE Enterprise Webinar – Queensland businesses striving for agility during challenging COVID-19 restrictions

BNE Enterprise held the first of its Webinar Series on Thursday 30 April, Steering your business through COVID-19.

Special guests included:

– Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) Queensland Head Rebecca Andrews, who gave members an update on the current economic conditions facing business operators in Queensland across major industry sectors in construction, manufacturing, tourism and hospitality.

– Gadens Lawyers’ Partner, Corporate Advisory, Jonathan Hadley gave us insights on new employment contracts, EBA’s and workplace conditions being considered by businesses in dealing with the impacts of Coronavirus

– Gadens Lawyers’ Partner, Property, John Nicolas provided his analysis on Queensland’s retail and commercial leasing environment, newly introduced codes pertaining to investment, as well as the ongoing dialogue between landlords and tenants in seeking fair and balanced agreements during the Coronavirus crisis.

Following the guest presentations, BNE Enterprise members and associates had the opportunity to ask our experts a range of questions on what the future holds for Queensland businesses as they continue to build resilience through the COVID-19 crisis.
